Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Albuquerque Bulldogs (Albuquerque, NM), 72-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Highland upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Hornets travel to Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM) to encounter the Rams in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 20. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Rio Rancho won 56-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Falcon (Falcon, CO)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 11. Albuquerque will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Ravens come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 85-35 non-league win over Valencia (Los Lunas, NM).
