The Panthers (8-4) will now prepare for their bout against Hebron (Carrollton, TX). The Hawks go into the non-league bout with a 18-12 record. In their last bout, Hebron by Midway (Waco, TX), 5-3, in a non-league bout.

The Hawks lost 5-3 in seven innings at Corsicana High School on Wednesday, despite outhitting the
the Panthers eight to seven and leaving 13 runners stranded on base.
Hebron left the bases loaded in the 1st and 3rd innings and stranded 2 in the 5th before scoring 3
runs in the 6th to take the lead 3-2. The Hawks held Midway scoreless in the 6th but couldn't
repeat that in the 7th to preserve the win.
The 3 run 6th started with walks to Amanda Sloper and, Kassi Wilson. Erin Payne sacrificed Taylin
Wittrock who was pinch running for Sloper and, Wilson to 3rd and 2nd bases. Chelsea Herndon
singled to the 2nd basemans right, scoring Wittrock and Wilson. Herndon advanced to 2nd on the
throw to the plate. Erinn Hill singled up the middle, plating Herndon.
