January 31, 2015: North Charleston, SC 29405 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Academic Magnet Raptors basketball team scored a decisive 58-22 triumph over the Charleston Math & Science Riptide.
In their next game, the Raptors meet the Battery Creek Dolphins (Beaufort, SC) in a AA Region VI match, on Tuesday, February 3. Academic Magnet will attempt to move on its 11-8 season record. The Dolphins enter the match with a 9-10 record after their 66-37 league loss to Bishop England (Charleston, SC).
With the defeat, Charleston Math & Science moves to 10-11 on the year. The Riptide host St. John's (John's Island, SC) to meet the Islanders in a A Region VI match on Tuesday, February 3.
