The Cartersville Hurricanes basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Rome Wolves to 28 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Allatoona for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27.

The Wolves (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against LaFayette (LaFayette, AL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, LaFayette ran past Cedar Bluff (Cedar Bluff, AL), 66-45, in a non-league contest.
