New York High School Basketball - Ogdensburg Free Academy crushes Salmon River
January 5, 2015: Fort Covington, NY 12937 Ogdensburg Free Academy Blue Devils (Ogdensburg, NY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Salmon River Shamrocks (Fort Covington, NY), 88-49 in a league challenge.
With the victory, Ogdensburg Free Academy improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Brushton-Moira (Brushton, NY) to play the Panthers in a Section 10 Central challenge on Thursday, January 8. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Brushton-Moira lost 70-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Seton Catholic Central (Plattsburgh, NY)
Next up, the Shamrocks play the Gouverneur Wildcats (Gouverneur, NY) in a Section 10 Central challenge, on Thursday, January 8. Salmon River will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 41-27 non-league loss to Heuvelton Central (Heuvelton, NY).
