West Virginia High School Basketball - Mercer Christian Academy can't hold off Meadow Bridge
December 28, 2017: Meadow Bridge, WV 25976 The Meadow Bridge Wildcats basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Mercer Christian Academy Cavaliers to 52 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Thursday.
The Wildcats now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montcalm for a Coalfield A contest on Tuesday, January 2. Meadow Bridge will battle a Generals team coming off a 58-45 non-league win over Craig County (New Castle, VA). The Generals record now stands at 1-2.
The Cavaliers (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against James Monroe (Lindside, WV). The Mavericks come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, James Monroe was nudged by Pocahontas County (Dunmore, WV), 63-56, in a non-league contest.
