The St. Rita Mustangs basketball team (Chicago, IL), was nudged 58-55 in Friday's league battle with the host St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL)

The Vikings now possess a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop McNamara for a Chicago Catholic - South battle on Friday, January 13. St. Laurence will confront a Fightin' Irish team coming off a 63-55 non-league win over Newark (Newark, IL). The Fightin' Irish record now stands at 7-2.
