Argos Dragons (Argos, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Winamac Warriors (Winamac, IN), 52-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Argos upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Dragons travel to Bethany Christian (Goshen, IN) to play the Bruins in a Freelance bout on Friday, January 5. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Bethany Christian won 29-27 in their recent non-league bout against Trinity (South Bend, IN)

Next up, the Warriors play the Knox Redskins (Knox, IN) in a Hoosier North bout, on Saturday, January 6. Winamac will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Redskins go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 60-45 non-league loss to Northridge (Middlebury, IN).
