In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Mounds View Mustangs lacrosse team scored a close 8-4 win over the Stillwater Ponies.

The Mustangs now have a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they host Roseville for a non-league battle on Monday, May 16.

In their next game, the Ponies face the Blaine Bengals (Blaine, MN) in a Section 4 battle, on Friday, May 13. Stillwater will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Bengals come into the battle with a 8-2 record after their 15-5 non-league win over Osseo/Park Center (Osseo, MN).
