Pennsylvania High School Football - Derry topples Lincoln
October 14, 2016: Ellwood City, PA 16117 The Derry Trojans (Derry, PA) football defeated the host Lincoln Wolverine (Ellwood City, PA), 27-6 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Waynesburg Central Raiders (Waynesburg, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 3 bout, on Friday, October 21. Derry will attempt to move on its 8-0 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 0-7 record after their 27-15 non-league loss to Bentworth (Bentleyville, PA).
The Wolverine (0-7) will now prepare for their bout against Riverside (Ellwood City, PA). The Panthers enter the non-league bout with a 6-2 record. In their last bout, Riverside defeated Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA), 28-26, in a non-league bout.
