Wisconsin High School Basketball - Stevens Point knocked off by Bay Port
December 10, 2016: Stevens Point, WI 54481 The Bay Port Pirates basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Stevens Point Panthers to 54 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Pirates now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North for a Fox River Classic contest on Tuesday, December 13. Bay Port will meet a Golden Raiders team coming off a 67-54 league win over Ashwaubenon (Green Bay, WI). The Golden Raiders record now stands at 2-0.
The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Marshfield (Marshfield, WI). The Tigers enter the Wisconsin Valley contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Marshfield was outscored by Eau Claire North (Eau Claire, WI), 66-60, in a non-league contest.
