Bishop Brossart Mustangs (Alexandria, KY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Holmes Bulldogs (Covington, KY), 57-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bishop Brossart upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Mustangs host Bracken County (Brooksville, KY) to encounter the Polar Bears in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 7. The Polar Bears come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Bracken County won 73-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Raceland (Raceland, KY)

Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Madison Southern Eagles (Berea, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 8. Holmes will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 82-34 non-league loss to Clay (Lexington, KY).
