West Virginia High School Football - Clay County prevails Calhoun
October 30, 2015: Mt. Zion, WV 26151 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Clay County Panthers (Clay, WV) and the host Calhoun Red Devils (Mt. Zion, WV), observed Clay County's football squad defeat Calhoun by a count of 34-12.
The Panthers now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Webster County for a Little Kanawha contest on Friday, November 6. Clay County will encounter a Highlanders squad coming off a 28-14 non-league loss to Tygarts Valley (Mill Creek, WV). The Highlanders record now stands at 2-7.
