In Friday's non-league outing, the Ponca Indians (Ponca, NE) basketball squad beat the host Bancroft-Rosalie/Lyons-Decatur Northeast Wolverines (Bancroft, NE), by a margin of 50-33.

The Indians (29-1) will now prepare for their outing against St. Cecilia (Hastings, NE). The Bluehawks go into the non-league outing with a 24-3 record. In their last outing, St. Cecilia defeated Yutan (Yutan, NE), 39-36, in a non-league outing.

The Wolverines now own a 25-3 record. They play next when they travel to Yutan for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 10. Bancroft-Rosalie/Lyons-Decatur Northeast will clash with a Chieftains squad coming off a 39-36 non-league loss to St. Cecilia (Hastings, NE). The Chieftains record now stands at 25-2.
