University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Brown City Green Devils (Brown City, MI), 58-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, University Liggett upgrades its record to 19-3 on the season. The Knights travel to Blissfield (Blissfield, MI) to play the Royals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 11. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 21-0. Blissfield won 57-25 in their recent non-league bout against Consortium College Prep (Detroit, MI)
