North Carolina High School Football - Freedom trounces East Burke

August 31, 2018: Connelly Springs, NC 28612

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Freedom Patriots football squad scored a big 55-13 victory over the East Burke Cavaliers.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 7. Freedom will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 35-13 non-league win over McDowell (Marion, NC).

The Cavaliers (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Newton-Conover (Newton, NC). The Red Devils enter the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Newton-Conover was crushed by Hickory (Hickory, NC), 35-6, in a non-league match.
