The East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC) basketball felled the host Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC), 66-53 in Tuesday's league test.

The Eagles (9-10) will now prepare for their test against Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Knights go into the 4A Southwestern test with a 18-3 record. In their last test, Ardrey Kell thwarted Butler (Matthews, NC), 68-60, in a league test.

The Ravens now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to Independence for a 4A Southwestern test on Friday, February 8. Rocky River will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 72-49 league win over South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 16-5.
