The Mt. Vernon Marauders topped the host Marion Giants basketball team by a final score of 72-60 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Marauders face the New Castle Trojans (New Castle, IN) in a Hoosier Heritage game, on Friday, December 30. Mt. Vernon will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record.
