Michigan High School Softball - Brown City holds off Marlette
May 23, 2012: Marlette, MI 48453 Brown City Green Devils (Brown City, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Marlette Red Raiders (Marlette, MI), 2-0 in a league challenge.
The Green Devils now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marlette for a Greater Thumb - East challenge on Wednesday, May 23. Brown City will battle a Red Raiders squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Harbor Beach (Harbor Beach, MI). The Red Raiders record now stands at 17-7.

Totally wasted a good pitching performance from Angela King! Our errors and lack of focus at the plate cost us--we struck out 8 consecutive at bats. This was just disappointing.
