New Jersey High School Basketball - Trinity overwhelmed by St. Benedict's Prep
January 10, 2009: Newark, NJ 07102 The Trinity Shamrocks basketball team (Camp Hill, PA), was routed 100-59 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host St. Benedict's Prep Gray Bees (Newark, NJ)
The Gray Bees now sport a 13-0 record. They play next when they host Math Civics & Sciences for a non-league battle on Monday, January 12. St. Benedict's Prep will meet a Mighty Elephants team coming off a 88-67 non-league loss to Lawrenceville School (Lawrenceville, NJ). The Mighty Elephants record now stands at 10-2.
The Shamrocks (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Hershey (Hershey, PA). The Trojans come into the Mid-Penn - Keystone battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Hershey was routed by West Perry (Elliottsburg, PA), 55-53, in a non-league battle.
