December 29, 2017: New Orleans, LA 70119 In Friday's non-league outing, the Jesuit Bluejays (New Orleans, LA) basketball squad felled the visiting Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves (Dumfries, VA), by a margin of 58-44.
The Bluejays (11-3) will now prepare for their outing against St. Augustine (New Orleans, LA). The Purple Knights go into the 5A District 9 outing with a 9-7 record.
The Wolves now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Episcopal for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 3. Saint John Paul the Great Catholic will encounter a Maroon squad coming off a 69-36 non-league win over Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD). The Maroon record now stands at 8-1.
