The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Central Bears (Brooksville, FL) and the host West Port Wolf Pack (Ocala, FL), saw Central's volleyball squad beat West Port by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Central upgrades its record to 3-4 on the year. The Bears host Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 20. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Weeki Wachee lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Hernando (Brooksville, FL)

The Wolf Pack (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Springstead (Spring Hill, FL). The Eagles enter the 6A District 6 test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Springstead gained a win over Ridgewood (New Port Richey, FL), 3-1, in a non-league test.
