The Plainview Hornets basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Negreet Indians to 50 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hornets now sport a 20-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hicks for a C District 6 contest on Tuesday, January 25.

The Indians (9-17) will now prepare for their contest against Zwolle (Zwolle, LA). The Hawks enter the B District 4 contest with a 12-15 record. In their last contest, Zwolle trounced Stanley (Logansport, LA), 86-48, in a league contest.
