October 21, 2011: Marietta, GA 30062 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Walton Raiders (Marietta, GA) and the visiting Wheeler Wildcats (Marietta, GA), observed Walton's football squad bounce Wheeler by a count of 45-7.
The Raiders now own a 8-0 record. They play next when they host Marietta for a AAAAA Region 5 contest on Friday, October 28. Walton will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 35-28 league win over Lassiter (Marietta, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Wheeler moves to 3-6 on the season. The Wildcats host Cherokee (Canton, GA) to confront the Warriors in a AAAAA Region 5 test on Friday, October 28. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 1-7. Cherokee lost 38-3 in their recent league test against Walton (Marietta, GA)
