Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Northeast Vikings (Philadelphia, PA) and the host Central Lancers (Philadelphia, PA), saw Northeast's basketball squad hold off Central by a tally of 53-47.

With the victory, Northeast improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Bishop McDevitt (Wyncote, PA) to confront the Royal Lancers in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 10. The Royal Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Bishop McDevitt won 76-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Philadelphia Montgomery Christian Academy (Erdenheim, PA)

Next up, the Lancers confront the Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech Panthers (Philadelphia, PA) in a Philadelphia Public - B challenge, on Tuesday, December 11.
