Utah High School Basketball - Park City overwhelmed by Wasatch
January 23, 2009: Park City, UT 84060 The Wasatch Wasps basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Park City Miners to 25 in the Wasps league victory on Friday.
The Wasps now sport a 12-4 record. They play next when they host Uintah for a 3A Region 10 contest on Friday, January 30. Wasatch will meet a Utes team coming off a 56-40 league loss to Waterford (Sandy, UT). The Utes record now stands at 7-7.
The Miners (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Judge Memorial (Salt Lake City, UT). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region 10 contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Judge Memorial trounced Union (Roosevelt, UT), 74-49, in a league contest.
