Temple Wildcats (Temple, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Elgin Wildcats (Elgin, TX), 42-14 in a league test.

With the triumph, Temple improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Huntsville for a non-league challenge on Friday, November 14. Elgin will meet a Hornets team coming off a 17-13 league win over Willis (Willis, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 7-3.
