The Southwestern Warriors football team (Somerset, KY), was beaten 17-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host North Laurel Jaguars (London, KY)

The Jaguars (11-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Pulaski County (Somerset, KY). The Maroons come into the non-league challenge with a 11-1 record. In their last challenge, Pulaski County achieved victory over Lincoln County (Stanford, KY), 63-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pulaski County for a 5A District 7 challenge on Friday, November 20. Southwestern will meet a Maroons team coming off a 63-0 non-league win over Lincoln County (Stanford, KY). The Maroons record now stands at 11-1.
