Ohio High School Basketball - McKinley nips Crestview
January 31, 2017: Columbiana, OH 44408 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the McKinley Trojans (Sebring, OH) and the host Crestview Rebels (Columbiana, OH), saw McKinley's basketball squad hold off Crestview by a count of 59-54.
With the victory, McKinley upgrades its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Western Reserve (Berlin Center, OH) to play the Devils in a Inter-Tri County - Blue challenge on Friday, February 3. The Devils come into the challenge with a record of 11-3. Western Reserve won 68-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Leetonia (Leetonia, OH)
Next up, the Rebels play the South Range Raiders (Canfield, OH) in a Inter-Tri County - Red challenge, on Friday, February 3. Crestview will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 17-0 record after their 78-60 league win over United (Hanoverton, OH).
