In Saturday's non-league contest, the Friendswood Mustangs (Friendswood, TX) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Ball Tornadoes (Galveston, TX), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Brenham Cubs (Brenham, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 27. Friendswood will attempt to better on its 22-5 season record. The Cubs go into the contest with a 14-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to George Ranch (Richmond, TX).

With the loss, Ball moves to 14-4 on the year. The Tornadoes travel to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX) to battle the Indians in a 5A Region III District 23 outing on Tuesday, August 30.
