Maryland High School Basketball - Pallotti crushes Archbishop Curley
February 7, 2012: Laurel, MD 20707 Pallotti Panthers (Laurel, MD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Archbishop Curley Friars (Baltimore, MD), 71-38 in a league bout.
With the victory, Pallotti upgrades its record to 21-7 on the campaign. The Panthers host Boys Latin (Baltimore, MD) to play the Lakers in a MIAA B battle on Friday, February 10. The Lakers come into the battle with a record of 10-11. Boys Latin lost 58-45 in their recent league battle against St. Paul's (Brooklandville, MD)
The Friars (3-18) will now prepare for their battle against Severn (Severna Park, MD). The Admirals come into the MIAA B battle with a 4-17 record. In their last battle, Severn was overwhelmed by Chapelgate Christian Academy (Marriottsville, MD), 49-47, in a league battle.
