In Saturday's non-league outing, the Northern Vikings (Flint, MI) basketball squad nipped the visiting West Bloomfield Lakers (West Bloomfield, MI), by a margin of 71-67.

The Vikings (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Arthur Hill (Saginaw, MI). The Lumberjacks go into the Saginaw Valley outing with a 4-0 record.

The Lakers now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warren Woods-Tower for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 18.
