In Friday's league outing, the McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA) basketball squad beat the host Woodland Wolfpack (Stockbridge, GA), by a count of 64-44.

The Chiefs (13-2) will now prepare for their outing against Luella (Luella, GA). The Lions go into the AAAAA Region 4B outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, Luella was topped by Morrow (Morrow, GA), 76-43, in a league outing.

The Wolfpack now hold a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Forest Park for a AAAAA Region 4A outing on Tuesday, January 12. Woodland will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 60-50 league loss to Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 7-10.
