With the victory, East improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Tomcats travel to Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL) to battle the Warriors in a Upstate Eight challenge on Wednesday, January 7. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Waubonsie Valley lost 51-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL)
Next up, the battle the Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL) in a Northern Illinois NIC-10 challenge, on Friday, January 9. Belvidere North will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 42-18 non-league win over DeKalb (DeKalb, IL).
