October 15, 2010: Aliquippa, PA 15001 The Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA) football edged the visiting Central Valley Warriors (Monaca, PA), 26-22 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Vikings face the Ambridge Bridgers (Ambridge, PA) in a WPIAL AAA Parkway bout, on Friday, October 22. Hopewell will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Bridgers enter the bout with a 2-5 record after their 27-14 league win over Moon Area (Moon Township, PA).
The Warriors (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA). The Cougars enter the WPIAL AAA Parkway bout with a 5-2 record. In their last bout, Blackhawk was nudged by Montour (McKees Rocks, PA), 44-19, in a league bout.
