Carolina Friends Quakers (Durham, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC), 70-61 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Carolina Friends upgrades its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Quakers travel to Cary Academy (Cary, NC) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 28. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 2-7.

Next up, the Patriots play the Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC) in a 4A Conference 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 5. Southern Alamance will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record.
