The Highlands Golden Rams (Natrona Heights, PA) football defeated the host Kittanning Wildcats (Kittanning, PA), 24-13 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Golden Rams face the Apollo Ridge Vikings (Spring Church, PA) in a WPIAL AA Allegheny bout, on Friday, September 26. Highlands will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 5-0 record after their 46-20 league win over Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA).

The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Freeport (Freeport, PA). The Yellowjackets enter the WPIAL AA Allegheny bout with a 4-1 record. In their last bout, Freeport defeated West Shamokin (Rural Valley, PA), 28-26, in a league bout.
