In Monday's league test, the host Marvin Ridge Mavericks lacrosse squad scored a good 20-2 victory over the Sun Valley Spartans.

The Mavericks now have a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host Weddington for a Conference 12 test on Friday, April 22. Marvin Ridge will face a Warriors squad coming off a 22-5 league win over Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 13-1.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 19. Sun Valley will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record. The Pirates go into the match with a 2-12 record after their 15-2 league loss to Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC).
