August 26, 2011: Jasper, TN 37347 The Marion County Warriors football team (Jasper, TN), was ripped 53-21 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Bledsoe County Warriors (Pikeville, TN)
The Warriors (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Signal Mountain (Signal Mountain, TN). The Eagles come into the AA District 7 challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Signal Mountain trounced Tyner Academy (Chattanooga, TN), 38-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Warriors now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whitwell for a A District 6 challenge on Friday, September 2. Marion County will meet a Tigers team coming off a 34-22 non-league win over Midway (Kingston, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
