Connecticut High School Basketball - Prince RVT holds off Cheney RVT
January 31, 2011: Hartford, CT 06106 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Prince RVT Falcons (Hartford, CT) and the visiting Cheney RVT Beavers (Manchester, CT), saw Prince RVT's basketball squad hold off Cheney RVT by a score of 57-55.
With the victory, Prince RVT improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Ellis RVT (Killingly, CT) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 2. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-7. Ellis RVT lost 38-35 in their recent league challenge against Parish Hill (Chaplin, CT)
Next up, the Beavers play the Parish Hill Pirates (Chaplin, CT) in a Constitution State - East challenge, on Wednesday, February 2. Cheney RVT will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 38-35 league win over Ellis RVT (Killingly, CT).
