Minnesota High School Basketball - Monticello overwhelms North Branch
December 19, 2017: Monticello, MN 55362 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Monticello Magic (Monticello, MN) and the visiting North Branch Vikings (North Branch, MN), saw Monticello's basketball squad wallop North Branch by a tally of 79-45.
With the victory, Monticello improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Magic travel to Stillwater (Stillwater, MN) to confront the Ponies in a Suburban East challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Ponies come into the challenge with a record of 2-6.
Next up, the Vikings confront the Hermantown Hawks (Hermantown, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 21. North Branch will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 86-69 non-league loss to Delano (Delano, MN).
