Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Chinle Wildcats (Chinle, AZ) and the host Show Low Cougars (Show Low, AZ), saw Chinle's basketball squad hold off Show Low by a tally of 57-52.

With the victory, Chinle improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Blue Ridge (Lakeside, AZ) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 30. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a record of 10-2. Blue Ridge won 107-67 in their recent non-league challenge against Pinon (Pinon, AZ)

Next up, the Cougars confront the Empire Ravens (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 31. Show Low will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Ravens come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 77-57 non-league loss to Alchesay (Whiteriver, AZ).
