Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Jordan Falcons (Durham, NC), 54-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Wakefield upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC) to play the Golden Hawks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 7. The Golden Hawks come into the bout with a record of 4-2. Holly Springs lost 51-44 in their recent league bout against Green Hope (Cary, NC)

Next up, the Falcons play the East Chapel Hill Wildcats (Chapel Hill, NC) in a 4A PAC 6 battle, on Friday, December 9. Jordan will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record.
