December 7, 2016: Winter Park, FL 32792 The Lake Howell Silver Hawks (Winter Park, FL) basketball knocked off the visiting Lake Nona Lions (Orlando, FL), 84-75 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Silver Hawks (4-0) will now prepare for their test against East Ridge (Clermont, FL). The Knights go into the 8A District 5 test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, East Ridge notched a victory over Liberty Christian (Sanford, FL), 66-55, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Boone for a 9A District 4 test on Friday, December 9. Lake Nona will encounter a Braves squad coming off a 61-40 non-league win over East River (Orlando, FL). The Braves record now stands at 5-2.
