South Dakota High School Football - Luverne sneaks past Lennox
October 12, 2012: Lennox, SD 57039 The Luverne Cardinals football squad scored 27 points and restricted the host Lennox Orioles to 21 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Friday.
The Cardinals now sport a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Marshall for a Southwest challenge on Wednesday, October 17. Luverne will meet a Tigers team coming off a 49-0 league win over Worthington (Worthington, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 7-0.
The Orioles now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canton for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 19. Lennox will meet a C-Hawks team coming off a 36-27 league win over Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD). The C-Hawks record now stands at 3-4.
