Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM) supporters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team achieve victory over the host Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM), 69-51 in a league battle.

The Vikings now possess a 21-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highland for a 5A District 5 battle on Thursday, February 20. Valley will confront a Hornets team coming off a 92-66 league loss to Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Hornets record now stands at 16-7.

The Ravens (4-19) will now prepare for their battle against Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Bulldogs come into the 5A District 5 battle with a 7-16 record. In their last battle, Albuquerque was toppled by West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM), 72-70, in a league battle.
