Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Timber Creek Wolves (Orlando, FL), 57-32 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Gulf upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Nature Coast Tech (Brooksville, FL) to play the Sharks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 5. The Sharks come into the bout with a record of 12-4. Nature Coast Tech lost 51-28 in their recent non-league bout against Academy of the Holy Names (Tampa, FL)

Next up, the Wolves play the Boone Braves (Orlando, FL) in a 6A District 4 bout, on Thursday, January 7. Timber Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Braves come into the bout with a 12-2 record after their 59-45 non-league win over Central (Fort Pierce, FL).
