Texas High School Basketball - Brewer knocked off by Saginaw

The Saginaw Rough Riders basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Brewer Bears to 47 in the Rough Riders league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rough Riders now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aledo for a 5A Region I District 6 contest on Friday, December 16. Saginaw will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 45-44 league win over Chisholm Trail (Fort Worth, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 5-12.

The Bears (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Northwest (Justin, TX). The Texans enter the 5A Region I District 6 contest with a 3-4 record.
