Alabama High School Basketball - Winfield ripped by Florence
December 28, 2016: Winfield, AL 35594 The Florence Falcons basketball team scored 74 points and held the host Winfield Pirates to 38 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Falcons now sport a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northridge for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Florence will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 72-56 non-league win over Mars Hill Bible (Florence, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 8-5.
Next up, the Pirates play the Sheffield Bulldogs (Sheffield, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 29. Winfield will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 44-35 non-league loss to Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL).
