Ohio High School Basketball - Fort Recovery fells New Knoxville
January 27, 2012: Fort Recovery, OH 45846 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Fort Recovery Indians (Fort Recovery, OH) and the visiting New Knoxville RANGERS (New Knoxville, OH), saw Fort Recovery's basketball squad overcome New Knoxville by a count of 47-37.
With the victory, Fort Recovery upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Indians host St. Henry (St. Henry, OH) to play the Redskins in a Midwest challenge on Friday, February 3. The Redskins come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. St. Henry won 62-54 in their recent league challenge against Parkway (Rockford, OH)
Next up, the RANGERS play the Marion Local Flyers (Maria Stein, OH) in a Midwest challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. New Knoxville will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Flyers come into the battle with a 5-6 record after their 48-47 league loss to New Bremen (New Bremen, OH).
